iSlate and tablet connection

Since the Apple and islate.com domain name connection hit blogs over the holidays, Apple’s stock has made a sharp positive jump. Even though there was no official news release from Apple investors on wall street seem to agree with the rumors, the iSlate is coming.

Former Google China President Kai-Fu Lee who has worked for Apple in the past had some interesting information about the Apple tablet.  Mr. Lee wrote on his Twitter like microblog:

Well it looks like iSlate is out of the bag.

It looks like the name iSlate has gone mainstream.  We over at iSlate.org put all the dots together more than 2 years ago.  One of the connections that all other news site have left out is the “Record Last Updated” date on islate.com has always been the same as all of Apple’s other sites like [...]

iSlate name trademarked under Slate Computing

On November 21, 2006 a company called Slate Computing (registered in Delaware) filed for a US word mark for ‘iSLATE’. Notably, that was right around the time at least three islate-related domain names were registered.
