Apple stock hits record high on ‘iSlate’ rumors

Apple’s stock (AAPL) on Thursday surged $6.94, or 3.4 percent, to close at a record high of $209.04. That topped the previous closing high of $207 on Nov. 17. Monday is expected to be a big day during the opening bell. Apple now has a stock market value of $188 billion and could possibly top Google ($196 billion) in the weeks to come.
